URB-E has a 20 mile range on a single charge, a top speed of 15mph, and
can fold small enough to fit next to you on a train or bus.
Urb-E is an electric scooter designed
for maximum range and portability. The scooter charges in three hours
and travels up to 20 miles per charge, at a speed of 15 miles per hour.
It can be controlled via smartphone, using the Urb-E App to monitor
battery charge, range, speed, LED lighting, music, and navigation. The
smartphone dock also charges one’s phone, so using the scooter won’t
drain power. Riding the scooter won’t limit mobility, either. The
recyclable, aircraft-grade aluminum frame folds up, so that it can be
taken almost anywhere one needs to go. Collapsing within a minute, the
razor scooter can be brought on a bus or train with no hassle to the
owner and without crowding other travelers. As the scooter weighs just
27 lbs., it can also be carried indoors, safely on one’s person at all
times. The frame comes in MRDR Black, Carbon Grey, Cloud White, Polished
Gold, or Go Green, and is accented by dots of black, blue, white, pink,
yellow, or orange. Additionally, each scooter comes with a set of clear
sleeves, which can be customized and inserted in place of the standard
accents. Soon to be available in three-wheeled Commuter and two-wheeled
GP models, the Urb-E is currently campaigning for support on indiegogo.
