Aug(De)Mented Reality: An Ingenious Fusion of Traditional Cel Animation and iPhone Photography

Animator Marty Cooper creates brief animated shorts by blending traditional cel animation with photos he takes with his iPhone 5. By using transparent layers he’s able to create characters that interact with other objects in the background and foreground in a method similar to stop motion.
